Manager, Technical Content Strategy
I fell into technical writing by accident and spent a long time pretending like it wasn't my career. But later, I realized that I love learning and I love explaining things and tech writing satisfies both those needs. Most recently I got hired at SailPoint as a technical writer on a cloud product being incubated in the halls of a well established on-prem product. We started out with 1 writer covering docs for releases every 3 weeks to 2 writers covering 1-week releases, and now we're a team of 4 writers juggling 4 tribes of 3 scrums each and handling 40+ deployments every week. And our Engineering team is aiming for 100+ releases per week. Despite these challenges, we publish docs that Services, Support, and customers rely on to be successful.
