Anna N. Schlegel is a native of Catalunya. Today she is Sr. Director Globalization, Product Portfolio Solutions, and Information Engineering at NetApp, and has been head of globalization, information, and Digital Presence at companies like VMware, VeriSign, Cisco and Xerox. Anna has also been the CEO and General Manager of 2 Bay Area globalization agencies. Anna is the recipient of 2017 Women Worth Watching in STEM award and the 2018 Language Industry Person of the Year.

Recently, Anna was awarded as Woman of Influence by the Silicon Valley Business Journal, and as Global Leader by the Data Awards in London. Anna is the author of Truly Global: The Theory and Practice of Bringing Your Company to International Markets and the first networking engineering dictionary for Cisco.

She is the co-founder of Women in Localization, Board Member of the Obama initiative US2020 STEMentors Silicon Valley, and Chair of Women in Technology at NetApp.
